Forms and Gear, and somebody new

Well, I shall begin with a new blogger, who's already known by some people. One to note is Big Red Kitty. His name is Tanuviel, and he's the new kid on the block, as said by BRK. He's got some interesting posts, and some good info on bear form. So be sure to check him out.

Anyways, on to forms then. As druids, we have the ability to tank, DPS, cast and heal. This makes us one of the most useful classes in the game, and in my oponion, one of the most fun classes. But there can be a problem with being able to do all of these things. Because sometimes what you're specced determines how many instances you'll be going to. Many feral druids often have a hard time finding groups on servers that have low healing populations. Pre TBC, I almost always healed in instances, because that was the only way I could get a group, even though I was feral.

But now, I can go kitty and claw those enemies, because there seems to be less of a need for resto druids, since more priests seem to be popping up.

Anyways, when in cat form, I'm looking for attack power. Armor is nice, since I don't get any armor bonuses from cat form, but attack power helps me kill things quicker. It's hard to find a piece of gear that has good attack power and alot of armor. For example, my chest piece has around 400 armor, but no attack power. My bracers on the other hand have 99 armor and about 26 added attack power. I also got a trinket yesterday that increase my attack power by 200 for 15 sec, but gives me no armor. See the problem here?

I'd rather have one armor set good for both bear and cat, instead of one with attack power and one with armor. But it seems that isn't going to happen. I have, since I have started playing, always and only had one set of gear. Yeah, attack power was nice, but I went for the armor. But now, I know I need attack power & armor, but to find gear like that is hard for me.
